For 15 years, Feed the Need Missions has been serving
Bastrop County through weekly community cookouts,
offering free meals, friendship, and hope to anyone
who stops by—no strings attached. Our mission is
simple: feed people physically and spiritually while
building lasting relationships. Each fall, our Gobble
Kit program also provides Thanksgiving meals to local
families, a tradition the community looks forward to
year after year. Join us in making a lasting difference
in Bastrop County.
“Every week, a simple meal becomes the backdrop for
something deeper. People from all walks of life gather,
not as strangers, but as neighbors—serving, praying,
and encouraging one another. In moments like this,
friendships form across generations, faith is shared,
and burdens are lightened. Volunteers and guests
stand side by side, both giving and receiving. It’s in
these quiet, consistent moments that real community
takes root. Whether you come to serve, to share a
